In the course of the serviceable lifetime of a train, not only the demands made on the main vehicle components, but also the applicable regulations relating for instance to safety will change. In order to ensure maximum efficiency for the operating company and highest possible passenger comfort, IFE offers support with the modification of door systems. For instance: Implementation of new functions, replacement of existing pneumatic door drives by electric drives, new door control systems, improvement of passenger safety by integration of electric detection systems for anti-trap protection or detection of trapping and modifications made on door systems in order to increase speed.
