Sliding plug doors for mainline

This sliding plug door system is used mainly in the single-leaf version, especially with fast running multiple train units and RIC.

The high requirements of such trains with respect to sound and heat insulation are met through a special door leaf structure and various panels. Extreme ranges of temperature in exposed locations and regions are taken into consideration by using special materials and components, thus ensuring a steady functional safety.
